Candy Cane Green Tea..

Welcome Back! This is the beginning of a Series of Blogs that involve my Trying Different Teas and reviewing them.. This will not have any definitive direction.. I may wait a few days before the next Blog post. As you know I have two little boys, My Own Business, & a Household to run so I wont be able to do this every single day.. That is.. Unless You demand that I do! (Wink Wink)
Today's Tea is (Drum Role Please!!).. Trader Joe's Candy Cane Green tea! Seeing the Box gave me the urge to want to try this Tea.. How very precious is the Polar bear in his stocking cap, Sweater, Cup of Tea in the Arctic!? Oh & Not to mention the Candy Canes floating in the water! Because I love cute boxes! & I of course love Polar Bears! On the side of the box it says "While our Candy cane Decaffeinated green tea may lack the traditional red and white stripes and cane shape associated with your traditional candy cane. That familiar misty taste is ever present. We've taken some of our favorite holiday flavors like refreshing peppermint, creamy vanilla and spicy cinnamon and mixed them with naturally decaffeinated, rich Green Tea". This says so much about this tea, The familiar Taste is ever present.. & I prefer this much over the taste of your typical green tea. As I was drinking it, Brought the cup up to my mouth I could smell the calming aroma of Peppermint. The flavor was mild and relaxing, Warm & soothing. Perfect for a cold/ rainy day! I found this to be Perfect since it is as low as 20 Degrees here in Oregon.. We may have clear Blue skies, But My oh My is it Freezing! How far will you go to try/ Enjoy a Delicious tea? Well, I will go as far as to allow the Heartburn to flow in my chest. I know peppermint is delicious but it is a double edged-Sword when it comes to the stomach.. It can Cause GERD (Heartburn) Which is a Bummer.. Big Bummer! I even get Heartburn when I brush my teeth. My Body has ways of making delicious things Hurt me (BLAH!).
Nevermind the heartburn.. This Tea is Fantastic! I love the flavor/Flavors.. I know you will find it comforting on a cold day.. Paired with a Good book. Follow me on my Next Adventure in TEA! Tomorrow is a NEW Day & a New Tasting!
